Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Tamam is a service for reviewing and approving work, provided by Notch to agencies and studios. We respect your privacy, and this page explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

It applies to two kinds of users: account holders (agencies and their teams), and clients or reviewers who open review links.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: your name, email, mobile number and password (stored with irreversible hashing).
• Agency data: name, plan, subscription status and visual identity (logo and color).
• Content: the files you upload (images, video andPDF) comments and approval decisions.
• Reviewer data: the name and email the client enters when opening a review link, plus their comments and decision.
• Technical data: IP address IP browser type and action times in the activity log, for security and decision documentation.
• Payment data: we don’t store card numbers. Online payment happens at the payment provider, and we only receive the transaction status and reference. Transfer proofs (InstaPay) you upload are stored for review.

3. Why we use your data

• Running the service, logging in and managing the subscription.
• Sending notifications and emails about the account and reviews.
• Documenting approval decisions, issuing approval certificates and the verification page.
• Protecting accounts and preventing abuse.
• Improving the service and supporting you technically.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use your clients’ content in advertising.

4. Who controls the data

The agency owns its clients’ content and their reviewers’ data, and Tamam processes it on the agency’s behalf to provide the service. Tamam is responsible for the agency account and team data.

5. Sharing data

We share the minimum data only with service providers we rely on to run the service:

• Hosting and file storage provider.
• Email provider (SMTP) for sending messages.

We may disclose data if a competent authority requests it under the law.

6. Cookies (Cookies)

We only use essential cookies: the session cookie to keep you logged in, and a form protection token. We don’t use advertising tracking cookies.

7. Data security

• Original files are stored outside the public folder, and are only served through a valid review link or an authorized account.
• Review links use a random token, and you can protect them with a password and expiry date.
• Passwords are hashed, and forms are protected from forged requests.
• An activity log to track sensitive actions.

No system is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable measures and keep updating them.

8. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. If you request account deletion we delete your data and content within a reasonable time, except what the law requires us to keep. Issued approval certificates may remain verifiable as needed to prove their validity.

9. Your rights

Under the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) you have the right to access and correct your data, and to request deletion, restriction or objection to its processing. Send us your request and we’ll reply as soon as possible.

10. Children

The service is intended for businesses and professionals and not for anyone under 18.

11. Policy changes

We may update this policy. If the change is material we’ll notify you in your account or by email.
